[Resident Evil] Missing lift platform in Courtyard 1F

Playing as Chris, I was trying to get back to the Mansion with the Helmet Key on my hands after the fight against Plant 42. Unfortunately, there's one problem: the round lift platform. For some no good reason, it's now on the higher ground and I can't reach it.

I was trying to find out one a similar case online. I've found one from another website however there's no definite solution to the case.

If someone could tell me please what's going on.
