Seriously...?Ashen wrote:Also it looks like your ffc cable is upside down. The exposed pins should be facing down

Hugo, maybe too late, but did you double check the connections, so that there are no bridges, etc.?
Does the gamecube turn on after all?
I mailed Zen, and he said I could break open an old mouse, so I did that and I soldered the wires to one of the buttons.Ashen wrote:Sounds like you are close to having it working. Double check everything is hooked up proper and get the right type of switch ;P
Seriously...?Ashen wrote:Did you remove the button from the mouse you used? If you wired it straight to the mouse, thats your problem.
Could I also break the traces of that button?Ashen wrote:Did you remove the button from the mouse you used? If you wired it straight to the mouse, thats your problem.
I have a Wii but my parents own it and they doesn't want me to open it..Ashen wrote:I dunno man. If you have followed the megaguide: http://www.gc-forever.com/forums/viewto ... ?f=3&t=416 to a T and there is no misconnections or bridging I'm at a loss... what region and IPL revision is your cube? At this point if you have a Wii to test it on it may be best to hook your Wiikey up to that and make sure you haven't fried it.
