Sorry for not beeing of any help on your romhack issue as long as I'm not used to hack GC ISOs, I'm Not on PC and I don't use GameCube emulators (while I use Emulators on GC).
PS: I wasn't aware of that goose and repaint mod, nor what it exactly mean…
