Hello

Post by euan-forrester » Mon Jun 09, 2025 9:02 pm

Hey everyone, I'm the author of savefileconverter.com and I recently added support for GameCube saves to the site so I wanted to come here and make a post about it as well as make a page on the wiki

You can check it out here: https://savefileconverter.com/#/gamecube

The site is open source, completely free, and has no advertising.

I'll add a more detailed post to the GameCube forum

Thanks for having me here!

Hello and welcome, nice to see such utility as long as things like gci extraction from raw files, or raw files expansion are not supported by GCMM AFAIK.

The fact it is online makes it more universal, as it may not be straightforward for mac users to use windows-dedicated software.

Thanks! Yeah I use a Mac and I found it a bit frustrating that most save tools were Windows-only, so that was one of the reasons I wanted to make it online

gcmm can extract a .gci save from a memory card, or a .raw file from a memory card, but not a .gci file from a .raw file I believe. Personally I like being able to organize all my files on my computer which I find this tool helpful for.
