I recently got a copy of PSO I & II for the Gamecube. How does one know if it's the plus version or not.
As best as I can tell, it seems that the plus version has the blue background cover instead of white. Is this how you tell? Or is there some other method?

Re: Phantasy Star Online I & II - how to distinguish the plu
I think I'm all set. The seller just emailed me and said that the plus version has the word "plus" next to the I & II on the cover. So I think I have the original version of the game.
Re: Phantasy Star Online I & II - how to distinguish the plu
Yeah if it's 1 & 2 Plus it'll say "Plus" on the cover.

Re: Phantasy Star Online I & II - how to distinguish the plu
did they change anything major except for closing the exploit?

please search before you ask - a lot has been discussed already!

I realise this is a reply to an old topic/post but..
Just so you know:
One big thing is that previously download-only quests are now available to play on disc. Another big thing is shop dupe has been removed. This prevents one from duplicating and & 'stacking' items above the proper limit impossible (it may still be possible, though I don't know any other way to do it). 'Stacking' above the proper limit means you can carry in your inventory or store in your bank more than 10 (normal max) items at a time. Duplicating involves making copies of items you already have.
