Will I have to remove my Qoob SX-chip?

Hey guys!

So, I'm waiting on my MEGAdrive v3-chip that I have ordered, and a few days ago I picked up a Wiikey Fusion-chip.
Since I already have a Qoob SX-chip in my GC, will I have to desolder it before remove my DVD drive and put in the MEGAdrive and WKF-chips?

Sorry for such a noobish question, but I had to ask since I am trying to prepare my GC for the MEGAdrive-chips arrival

you can leave the sx inplace where it is, but there will be no real use for sx anymore
maybe install onto another GC, or desolder and keep it somewhere safe, or desolder and sell it...


note: these information posted was performed with qoob pro (sx should not be any different )
also note: i only tested WKF firmware v1.3 but will work with swiss on flash too.

the mainpoint to remember if you decide to keep the SX soldered on: always boot into original IPL, not qoob IPL
