Hey guys. I'm trying to play brawl from my iso using my new Wasp, but I get the "An error has occurred" screen after the wasp resets the wii. I know there was a way for it to work, but I can't seem to find any information on this issue. Any help would be appreciated

.
I loaded my brawl iso onto an SD card using WBFS Manager 4.0 which scrubs the iso to reduce image size, if that helps any.

To be brutally honest, I don't think we really know much about running Wii games on the WASP/WKF.

It's possible the issue is caused by it being dual layer. Try another dual layer game, make sure you're on the latest firmware too.

I just checked with another known dual layer disk that I dumped, and the same "An error has occurred" error shows up when I try to load it. As for firmware, my wii is running 4.3U and my wasp is says "SW Version: 1.5" and FPGA Version: 1.0"

You should update your WASP, the FPGA version has to match the menu version.

Okay.. The only update ive done so far was to the 1.5 firmware that Megalomaniac provided a link for. I don't remember seeing any way to update the FPGA version though. Sorry for the trouble but any help is appreciated

Okay thanks Streetwalker. But isn't that the same as the 1.5 from the download that Megalomaniac provided in another thread I made?

I probably did something wrong along the line but my wasp functions normally (to me at least)
I took that warning to mean do not start the process with 1.3 or 1.5, but start with 1.0 then update to 1.5
Also, the 1.5 USA update from your link says PAL in the WBFS manager that I use.

FPGA version 1.0 is always displayed on WKF menu
Only the SW Version changes from 1.0 to 1.5

Okay that clears some confusion up. If that's the case, isn't my wasp already up to date? I have seen mention of a 1.9 version somewhere but nothing more than that. If I can't play my backed-up isos of dual layer games, its not a big deal for me because I have a small library of everything else lol. (On a side note, sweet avatar, Megalomaniac.)
