Hello everyone, I need some help, please. My post is about a video display issue related to the GCVideo firmware on my EON GCHD MK-II.

Using a remote control, I accessed the GCVideo settings on my EON GCHD MK-II to adjust a few settings, but due to an accidental mishandling on my part, I caused the GameCube’s video output to glitch. Now, when I turn my console back on, the PAL 576i video signal is compressed at the start, and when I access the Swiss software, the video output is stretched with a few horizontal lines running from top to bottom.

The video below shows the PAL 576i video display issue and the signal stretching in Swiss

In this video, I booted up the GameCube in "firmware update mode", The image is black and white, but this time the signal and image return to their original size, just like when I first bought it. However, when I exit "firmware update mode" using the remote control, I once again encounter the PAL 576i video display issue with flickering and in OBS Studio the video output is cropped.

Finally, there is also the GBI-HF which has a video display issue

I’m looking for a way to reset the EON GCHD MK-II to its factory default settings so I can stop having these display issues and restore the original signals. I’m open to any suggestions, and I’d really appreciate your help, as I’ve tried searching online but haven’t been able to figure out how to do it. Thank you in advance for your responses !

Best regards !

Long press on the device's button: https://www.reddit.com/r/Gamecube/comme ... _settings/ ;)

Maybe you have to save settings then, I just read it in a blionk, not sure I understood everything well.

Your Swiss version is not up to date.

Part 1 (Reddit link): I followed the instructions, but it didn't make a difference. it only reset the buttons on my remote control but not the GCVideo settings.

Part 2: I have noticed some strange behavior, specifically on GBI-HF, my screen is zoomed in and I can’t see all the GCVideo settings values. Also when I launch a PAL GameCube games from a disc or my microSD card my Elgato HD60 stops detecting the signal but it comes back when I am on Swiss and works perfectly with NTSC games because my default output is 480p.

Part 3 : My Elgato HD60 refuses PAL signals such as 576i/576p and my screen keeps flickering.

Hi Papy.G i have some good news,

I finally managed to reset my adapter to its default settings. I contacted EON tech support and they told me to perform a hard reset by pressing the “ENTER” button on my remote to access the GCVideo settings menu and then holding down the IR button. As a result, I no longer have the display glitch on the screen for GameBoy games and the PAL 576i signal is back. Also, the GCVideo color has returned to red as before. :)

You did exactly what was suggested in the reddit thread I gave you a link to. :P

I looked at my Bitfunx's HDMI adapter, then saw there is no button on this, so I wonder how can I access to that hidden menu, if I ever need to? Will I have to re-flash the FW just to get the settings back to defaults?
