Qoob pro - cubesx emulator

I am able to load cube sx from a DVD. Its asks me to select a couple options like controller and core. Once those are selected i get a crash dump prompt on the following page and the system has to be restarted. I have the proper bios on the same disc. Anyone having luck launching ps1 emulators from a DVD? It will run Snes and Sega with this method. Thanks for reading.

No someone told me PS1 emulators are dumpster fires.
