Hide files and folders that begin with a period

When using a Mac to prepare an SD card for use with Swiss, the OS automatically creates ~5 files and folders as part of its file management system. These files are all assigned file names that start with a period

.filename
.foldername

The period makes the file manager hide these files from the user. However, when reading that SD card with Swiss, it can be a hassle to dig through all 'hidden' files to find the one you want.

I request an option in the settings to hide all files that begin with a period. This would really make Swiss easier to use with Macs.

Just folders that begin with a "." or files/folders that are marked as hidden? Are the . folders marked as hidden from mac?

Unixy systems consider everything that begins with "." as hidden, so Mac, Linux, BSD, etc. The fat32 attribute would be a good idea to support too, I think osx actually sets it.
