Best way to mod my GameCube

Hey everyone,
I trying to find a way to mod my Gamecube so I can play backup games without having to burn DVD's, preferably from USB.
I not too comfortable with soldering so I'd rather do a softmod. I did some research and I think these are my best options:
- SD Media Launcher: As far as I can tell you have to use a disk every time and switch SD cards if you want to use a bigger one than 4Gb (to store games on).
- WiiKey/Wasp Fusion: Costs more and can be a bit hard to find. Can only play from SD cards (but up to 64Gb)
- WODE: Costs the most and isn't readily available. Can play games from USB-HDD (has audiostreaming issues?)
Any one has some pros/cons or a definitive solution? Any feedback is appreciated

Hi and welcome to the forum
I think you should at least get yourself booting homebrew in some manner (SDML or XenoGC) + a SD adapter for a memory card slot (about $25 or $14 depending on SDML vs XenoGC). Then you should see if you're satisfied with the playback of your backups from SD card via memory card slot, if not, go invest in something more expensive (Wasp, WODE).
There might be something coming up in the next year for the memory card slot, so if you can bare with it for a few months ...
