ok i just dismantled my datel sd media launcher its the same as a sd gecko so i assume its the boot disc that you use that makes the difference so my standard one from datel allows me to boot sdboot and gcos1.5.dol so what are the difference with the alternative

I don't have one myself, but I'm told that the adapter itself is the same as an sdgecko. That is, it follows the same specs. The Media Launcher is, therefore, a pack of sd-gecko + bootdisc that runs on unmodded consoles. I'm told the disc is cheap, though.

thats what i have come to guess but there are a lot of sites saying whats best media launcher or gecko so i was wondering if there is a gecko specific loader disc or by having the one that came with the datel do i allready have the best one to use im only asking as up till now i have not been able to lauch any iso's from the sd card yet closest i came was with eternal darkness but crashed 2 mins into game trying mario sunshine as it stated as working on the compatiblity list
