Hello GC-Forever,

I have a big problem after I flashed with the SwissFlasher.gcm my Gamecube freezes them just yet.
I turn first to the Gamecube after the Wiikey then freezes them

So I did it following the instructions.
Already running Swiss

0. Extract the PAL FZN file from inside SwissFlasher.gcm (it's just an ISO, so browse it using something like ISOBuster)

1. Put the FZN file and the latest Swiss DOL on your SD(HC) card and insert it into your Wiikey Fusion

2. Boot up the new Swiss DOL on your Wiikey Fusion by running it in Swiss (which was booted from the Wiikey Fusion)

3. Select the FZN file and click load - follow the prompts to flash it.
BIG THANKS, Sorry for bad english

Put the 1.2 recovery on a SD card as instructed by the wiikey guys.

Restore, go to 1.5, set region override to true then try again.

What region is your GC? Was region override on already? Did you use the PAL FZN file?

Read how to use the recovery image from the wiikey site. You were warned that this was a possibility..

the tutorial is inside the rar archive of the recovery image.

----------------------------------------------
WIIKEY FUSION RECOVERY IMAGE v1.2 - 2010-06-21
----------------------------------------------

---------
IMPORTANT
---------

THIS IS A RECOVERY IMAGE. IT IS INTENDED FOR USE RECOVERING YOUR

WIIKEY FUSION FROM A BAD FLASH. RUNNING THE RECOVERY DISC IS MORE

COMPLICATED THAN RUNNING THE REGULAR UPDATE DISC SO, WHENEVER

POSSIBLE, PLEASE USE THE UPDATE DISC IMAGE AT HTTP://WWW.WIIKEY.CN.

-------------------
General Information
-------------------

1) To apply this update, you will need dump it to a SD card as RAW data

This means that you cannot use any filesystem (such as WBFS, NTFS or

FAT32 etc etc).

2) To add the image to an SD card, you will need to use 'dd'. Using 'dd'

varies from system to system, with Unix-based systems being the easiest.

------------------------------------------
* WARNING * READ THIS BEFORE YOU PROCEED *
------------------------------------------

'dd' stands for 'device dump'. Running 'dd' literally means that you will

be writing all of the data from the .iso image directly onto your chosen

device (the SD card) without any filesystem.

Because this is a command-line based program, you must take extra care to

write the data to the correct device. IF YOU CHOOSE THE WRONG DEVICE, YOU

COULD END UP ERASING ANOTHER STORAGE DEVICE ON YOUR COMPUTER, SUCH AS YOUR

HARD DRIVE!

-----------------
Software download
-----------------

If you are using Linux or MacOSX, then you do not need to download anything.

However, if you are using MS Windows, you will need to download a copy of 'dd'

from http://www.chrysocome.net/downloads/dd-0.5.zip -- you will then need to

extract the .zip archive and put 'dd.exe' into your path or launch the 'dd'

command from the directory that you extracted the .zip file to.

-----------------------------------------------------
Instructions for adding the .iso image to the SD card
-----------------------------------------------------

1) From the command line, identify your SD card device by typing:

Linux: `cat /proc/partitions'
(use the device name without a partition number;
ie: '/dev/sdc' and not '/dev/sdc1')

MaxOSX: `diskutil list'
(use the device name without a partition number;
ie: '/dev/disk1' and not '/dev/disk1s1')

MS Windows: `dd --list'
(use the device with 'Partition0' appended to ensure
correct operation in MS Windows;
ie: '\\?\Device\Harddisk1\Partition0' and not '\\?\Device\Harddisk1\')

2) Once you are sure which device is your SD card, you can type the

following command. BE VERY CAREFUL HERE:

dd if=wkf_recover_1_2.iso of=<your device> bs=1M

Here are some examples of what you may type:

LINUX, with /dev/sdc as your device:
dd if=wkf_recover_1_2.iso of=/dev/sdc bs=1M

MAC OSX, with /dev/disk1 as your device:
dd if=wkf_recover_1_2.iso of=/dev/disk1 bs=1M

MS WINDOWS, with \\?\Device\Harddisk1\Partition0 as your device:
dd if=wkf_recover_1_2.iso of=\\?\Device\Harddisk1\Partition0 bs=1M

3) After the process has finished, the update is ready to apply to Wiikey Fusion.

------------------------------------
Applying the update to Wiikey Fusion
------------------------------------

1) With the Wii switched off, insert the SD card into the Wiikey Fusion

SD card reader and then power-on the Wii.

2) Run the update by launching the GameCube 'disc' in the disc channel

3) After the update has completed, remove the SD card and disconnect the power

from you Wii. THen, reconnect the power and start the Wii as normal.

4) You can verify that the update was applied properly by looking at the

version number at the top right of the config screen.

Thank you for your support!

Yes please! Makes it possible all the way to Swiss flashing without WBFS :).

Okay, sorry for the delay... here it is, without warranty, as usual. ;-)

Remember that you have to directly write it to sd card (overwriting the partition structures!)

And without WBFS, thanks! WBFS 4.0 on Ubuntu (Wine) is still not working for me.

thats exactly the thing what AnimeJunkie doesnt seem to understand how to do this. he only wants to have a plug and play solution without any raw formating/writing.

That's the only option. If he doesn't like it, then the other option is a semi-bricked wiikey.
