Probably because it patches the apploader. I'm not entirely sure.

That is what it's doing but I can't recall if I was working around that in CleanRip with some hacks, either way, don't dump if you have a xenoGC.

You can't rip with cleanrip if you've got a modchip. Also I highly recommend you try the lenses. I've ordered one as well and I didn't work. Got refunded immediately after contacting seller. If these do work then id be interested to know the exact seller

Forgot to mention they need potentiometer tweaking. Once that's done I would say they work quite good
