Someone who can help me. I'm playing Zelda Wind Waker on a Pal Wii with Swiss r39 but the game keeps freezing when i open the dungeon map, ¿why?. I though that problem was solved. (It happens in the two versions of the game,Pal and Ntsc).

Congrat's for the fantastic job with Swiss!! This app is really amazing!!
I'm using it with the Wii SD Adapter on my Dol-101 Gamecube.
I dunno if you noticed it, but, almost all the games that doesn't boot with swiss, boots when you apply the fastfix with the F S T command!
It worked for me with the Wind Waker portuguese translation iso and Ikaruga.
I tested these games on my sandisk 2gb sd card, formatted on FAT32:
- RE0: Buggie sound, like the other users related;
- Zelda WW: almost flawless, with minnor loading issues;
- Ikaruga: almost perfect;
- Killer 7: runs well, but freezes sometimes.
I'll report other things later. Thank's veeeery much for the awesome job!
Your SD should be formatted as FAT (aka FAT 16), that should fix your problems probably, or maybe it are just bad dumps.

Hmm, you tested the patch, right? If the game is not patched with the patch i gave you, the game is going to crash at that point. (@all other readers: This is a Wii only issue, the game should work fine on a gamecube)

Swiss should automatically patch. I will have to try this and confirm.

Wii or gamecube? Swiss only supports backup discs when using a gamecube. If you are using a gamecube, does it show any error?

I use a GameCube with qoob sx chip, I send .dol of swiss with BBA, no show any error simply stop after 66% patching. I try with old versions when i can (i'm not in home right now)

Megacubo, a few questions to identify the problem:
1. Are you able to boot/read DVD-R with the Qoob SX bios?
2. When it's at 66% do you hear it try to read then fail and spin down the drive?
3. You're not trying DVD+R are you?
Perhaps if 2 is true, tweak the POT on the drive or try better media.

1. Yes i can play all my backups with qoob sx bios (also efal, gcos, gcom, ninja bios works too)
2. Yes that is the problem (but the backups are ok. works with all other bios)
3. I try one game, splinter cell pandora tomorrow burned in a dvd+r but didn't work (dvd+r only work with qoob sx bios and gcos 1.5f)
After a lot of attempts (really a lot) i can boot some backups but only in swiss r2 (and only some times don't work always), I noticed that the other files contain -lz to the end if I'm correct that means they've been passed by dollz, could that be the problem?. Now I have the doubt because they work when they want if they want do not work xD
P.D. My POT is in 180ohms since 7 years and read backups so good

It still froze for me. I then tried using cheats and it gave me the an error has occurred turn off the power and consult the manual message..... also all red X's on the patch checks still if that matters.

Tested Mario kart Double Dash PAL. Dump from an orriginal disk with GCOS Ripper.
Information :
- Swiss boot from QOOB Pro
- The Mario Kart's GMC is stored on a 2Gb SD on slot a
- I use official SD Adapter from Nintendo
- tested whit comp/fast settings for speed
- tested from slot A and B
Behaviour :
- On GCM selection Swiss say : "read patch : yes", "Seek Patch : no", "Disc swap : yes"
- when I press A to run the game I hvae an error "error lid open". I don't understand because I start the game from a SD, not from DVD drive.
- Ok, lid closed, DVD drive searchs something (there is no dvd in drive), 2 time and nothing else.
- I am stuck on Swiss screen "enabling patch 66%"
- OK putting a disc in drive and restart, brief green screen and nothing after. Blank screen.

You need a disc in the drive.

Ok, but as you can read in my previous post, I also tried with a disk in drive. The result is a blank screen. Maybe my dumps is corrupt...

the PAL one wasn't confirmed as working. it may well be incompatible. Try a new dump and see how it goes.

Well it gave me a read patchable Green X and said it's likely to boot but still freezes at the Nintendo logo.... Might I suggest you finish the Ocarina support to help us help you. I do have a USB Gecko that I can use to provide you with a ram dump at the time the games crash to help you find and eliminate the problems.
Same results with a pre patched title.... The freezing that is. Swiss sees that it's already patched.

I don't know if anyone else has tried this (can't be bothered going back through 40 pages worth of posts

) but I've been able to load both F-Zero GX & 1080 Avalanche (both PAL) with a Wii game in my Wii, not a gamecube game. The only issues I've had is slowdown of the games for a few seconds everytime new music comes on (resulting in annoying screeching sounds for a little while in F-Zero, & a fair bit longer in 1080). Just thought it was an interesting tidbit, guess the program just needs the DVD drive running & hence the need for a retail game. I'm a bit suprised that a Wii game doesn't just stop running while in gamecube mode but whatever

It's not at all surprising. the way swiss works it just needs something in the drive that the system can read.
