Best graphic plug in for N64 emulators?
Best graphic plug in for N64 emulators?
Just wondering, I just download the emu, and I'm looking for some opinions or suggestions.
Re: Best graphic plug in for N64 emulators?
Download Project 64 1.6 (1.7 has been in a paid beta state for many many years and is not released yet). Jabo's default plugin is pretty great.
Rice is great as it's fast/complex/many options and great compatibility, but I usually just stick with Jabos default when using Project 64 unless if I see any graphical issues.
glN64 is nice and simple but doesn't have a few ucodes like Conkers Bad Fur Day and others.
There's also Glide64 but I'm not sure how well that does these days.

I've always used Jabo's plugins. Glide 64 + the glitch wrapper works pretty nice on my netbook though.

I used to get pretty good results with Glide64. Don't forget about the Project 64 1.6.1 update.
Re: Best graphic plug in for N64 emulators?
Well, I just tried the glide 64 final.. And I cant say that it has great compatibility... I would recommend to be added (if feasible) to the mupen64... Any thoughts??

We're porting Rice and maybe Glide64 (some day).

Great to hear that... thanks for the updates on the emu ... well I guess there is not much to discuss...
