I followed the instructions exactly at the time, so I'm pretty sure I didn't do anything wrong.

At any rate, turns out that the latest installer doesn't need IOS 236. Installed d2x in slot 249 with 56 as the base.

I tried both Wiiflow and Configurable USB Loader, loaders said to be able to successfully force 480p.

Wiiflow worked even without d2x, but even with it, it couldn't boot Mega Man 9 in 480p. It just froze the system. No luck with a retail disc of Sakura Wars either.

Configurable USB Loader does not seem to be able to load channels. Tried to boot Sakura Wars with video mode patching set to 'All'. Same result as with Wiiflow.

What a waste of time.

USBLoader GX is where it's at (though you have to track down a newer revision than the one offered on the official page). While I still didn't have any luck with Mega Man 9, it forced Sakura Wars to 480p successfully, and I've been playing it with no issues. Awesome!

Bought Mega Man 10. No 480p support. Can't force it either. Damn it.
