Won't Swiss or almost any mod/drivechip do this for you? Easier and better quality :).

your only chance is a freeloader/modchip/softmod solution. a converter will only convert the signal from ntsc to pal or vice versa, videowise. that won't change any language/locale or ipl settings.

That things dont work , on my gamecube , using Swiss , i cant Force PAL games to NTSC , i speak spanish , i wanna play games in spanish , but a few games , can support the Force from modchip like

MGS : TTS , RE4

Just with games i can forze , with xenogc 1.0 modchip , but i wanna something more physical , to convert the signals , because Swiss can force this video modes on mys TVS. because of that , i wanna make a homemade Conversor from PAL to NTSC

Freeloader dont work on my gamecube , action replay the same , dont work , quake too , i use Swiss0.2r124 for load dol files.

i dont know "softmods" someone can give links if possible in spanish ???

PAL to NTSC: less lines and a higher frequency, sounds very difficult for a home project. If you have a PAL Multidisc (with Spanish), forcing it to NTSC (probably one method will work: modchip(Qoob),drivechip(Xeno),Swiss,Freeloader) will still give the option to choose Spanish?

No, cheaper then a converter will be a new TV. I presume you are using an old CRT TV? Even newer CRT TVs have the option for both PAL and NTSC, and here they go away for almost nothing.. How do you connect your TV: SCART (RGB) or composite? I read some NTSC TVs will accept PAL over SCART (RGB).

I use the "Swiss 0.2r124" to load Dols Files , Backups , and i cant force Games with this , i try with the follow games :

Burnout
Wario World
Luigi Mansion
Resident Evil 0
Resident Evil 4
Eternal Darkness
Mario Party 4 / 5 / 6 / 7
Bomberman Generation
Metal Gear : The Twins Snakes

All this games are PAL , and none can be forced to ntsc correcltly , the most near , its bomberman generation , i dont have a mayor vertical image, but i saw it in black and white. Mario Party 5 i can boot it , and the rest of games , ever load in PAL

i dont know much about PAL and i dont know much about converting PAL to NTSC...

but i do know the GC is capable of displaying RGB to connect to a VGA monitor...
i "assume" that by using a VGA mod, you can bypass any TV NTSC/PAL issues and use a computer monitor to play gamecube games in their native display/language...
like i said, i dont know much about PAL, but the VGA mod might be a simple solution...

can anyone confirm my thoughts if this would work to help inukaze's situation????

PAL over RGB or VGA will only bypass the colour frequency problem which you would usually get when using a PAL signal on a NTSC TV or vice versa over composite or S-Video. The vertical refresh rate would still be same though and as far as I know not many VGA monitors will accept 50hz including TVs with VGA ports.

@inukaze Is your problem just the picture being black and white or does the picture also roll vertically?

I'm sure that I read somewhere that most if not all PAL games have a 60hz option if you hold the b button when booting. I know some of the PAL games that I have do and a few have the option as default like for example Resident Evil Zero on your list.

Most of the games, the image is upright as 150% width if 100% and without exception all black and white charged through Swiss.

I saw this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_sWeHYw22M

And well , i think , i should test , with something like that , because in the video , he use the PAL version , ut much Nintendo games have the Selector of Freq .

Well one of points is Swiss still not yey support load Games PAL in NTSC , like Metal Gear Solid , or Resident Evil Zero , but i have a damaged disc reader , becase of that i just use that for Boot "Swiss" and try to load games in NTSC Mode , but i can load in NTSC mode .

Well i have much CRT Monitors on my house , in this moment im looking for , how to homemade a RCA to VGA (Cable , Adapter , Conversor) or something for this propuse.

I think i need somehting like this : http://goo.gl/Zkzex .

With the diferrence to use the "Analog" Video cable of NGC , to VGA , or the method , to modify a "Analog" video cable , to use that cable to VGA , for example changing the internal cables in the end of the analog video output.

Well , i hope your understand the idea.

Im thing to buy this two things

1 - Cable RCA to VGA : http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ve/MLV ... estionText

2 - Vga Femele-Female : http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ve/MLV ... hembra-_JM

You understand the idea ???

From your list many games will work in NTSC some way.

Now you want to go from composite to VGA??? With a component to VGA cable (which won't work in most monitors anyway)?

If you want RGB signals for your monitor, you need a GameCube PAL and SCART (RGB) cable. For 480p RGB signals, to get it to work with all monitors, a component cable and DOL-001.

Well pr0ton i dont know if work with some monitor , i prefer to test it , and well , a Gamecube PAL its impossible for me , and N64 Pal too its imposible for me , the unique thing PAL i think if possible can found in latin america , its a PAL N-M TVs .

Well i dont understand what is the point of the "SCART (RGB) Cable" , you refer use the 480progresive of Gamecube video output in the monitor to get work with all monitors ???

i have a DOL-001 , i dont like the another models. a component cable i never seen in venezuela , no bba , the uniques things i saw : gamecube , thunderbird controls , and memory cards , gba , gba to gamecube , the rest of thing , I never saw it on sale.

Well if possible , someone explainme with a diagram , how to make a homemade video cable component ???

If you search a little further: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=770

Otherwise you run into: http://elm-chan.org/works/sc/report.html
Then a GBS-8220 can be useful for both your N64 and GC, but progressive will give the best picture.

Well , i test my DOL-001 , with a Analog TV Cable , in a Sony Bravia TV Model : klv-32bx300 , and games NTSC , load in "Progressive / 480p" mode

The MX Chip its just for load in "Progresive" mode , with "Digital Cable" ???

No, only MX chip can bring progressive: http://gamesx.com/wiki/doku.php?id=av:nintendodigitalav. Doesn't mean you can still choose Progressive, but will be just NTSC.
