First thing I did of course was get the motherboard out and get rid of all those connectors. Then connected the Wasp and set it up like so to test it:

I'm using a 7" composite LCD, but am currently looking at a HDMI driver board for it so that I can get the best quality with the digital out from the GameCube as soon as I get my component cable clone.
Although I said the LCD is composite I'm using a s-video to composite converter and the video quality looks much better now. However the below image was before I made the converter.

Next I put a laptop fan in the heat sink and used Arctic Silver to transfer the heat from the GPU, CPU, and RAM to heat sink:
