strange, is it the same card or another? I tried the same card (but modified files on the PC) and it was showing the new list. might be a SD vs SDHC change I haven't catered for.

Yes this is not the same card : i'm swapping a SD for a SDHC. Unfortunatelly i can't test swapping a SD for another SD because i have only one SD card.

only way to get versions which have no official release is to compile them yourself...

Emu_kidid (and everyone else continuing to work on Swiss):
thanks again for compiling both ways (compressed and not)
I continue to boot homebrew the old fashioned way, through PSOload (PSUload doens't like me for some reason), and even though I don't post here often, I just thought I'd let you know that your work continues to be appreciated!

Hi! It's been a long time since I used my Gamecube. Today I was going to test some games with the new Swiss 0.3 (I didn't use the Gamecube since Swiss 0.2 r94) and I have a problem. I have an IDE-EXI adapter and Swiss 0.2r94 still works perfect, but I tried to use a lot of Swiss 0.3 (r189, r210 and even the stable release r174) and neither recognize the HDD. They showed me an empty folder and nothing more :?

Do I have to do something so Swiss 0.3 can recognize the HDD? Thanks!!!

Oh! That's a pity :(. I thought emu_kidid fixed the IDE-EXI problems. I'll have to wait then.

Anyway thanks for the quick answer ;)

haha, actually, thanks to you also...
i was using your videos as reference to figure out what i was doing wrong when i was first testing ide-exi...
i realized all your videos were using older swiss versions, and with some advice from others, i tried the older swiss and had no problems...

so, thanks for the videos..

If possible , make a "Selector Menu" for Swiss Versions ??? , for example , the user , make a folder called "swiss" , inside the folder , the files called "0.1-r52" , "0.2-r94" , etc . . .

I say that , because , the result of "megalomaniac" ( download/file.php?id=894 ) , and Because , i remember , when i try to play "Mario Sunshine" with "0.2-r12X?" (Dont remenber the version) , the game dont work , but when i use the version "0.1-r92" (or something like this) , the game works perfect

Its just a suggestion , and make a file called "0.1-r92.cfg" (or something like that) for make a list the games "Excluded" (Dont show in the list , after the user test by itself , and saw the games works or not) . in the first run , all games displayed , and included an option for "Dont Display this Game" , in the specific version of swiss

Thanks :=) for readme , and sorry for my bad english

no need for a selector menu

you can use any swiss version to load any other swiss version....
so keep all the different versions on SD card and your good

I know own a SD Media Launcher. On my 2GB SD Card i copied swiss.dol only (on root dorectory). i started the sd medialauncher (the CD/DVD) after that i tried to start swiss. I tried vips, compressed end uncompressed. Evertime i try i get an no Signal on my TV.

EDIT: Seams my SD - Card is not compatible with sd-medialauncher. Loading games using that card works. Any idears?

Fixed an issue which was stopping audio streaming games from working from DVD-R (for no modchip users).

Also, someone with a 2002/04/02 drive should test out reading backup media without a XenoGC. (mega)

I would like to report a problem with the game The Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition.

The game patches and runs fine with swiss 0.3 r174. But in later versions a crash occurs after the new patching method (shows a black screen with lots of information).

Tested with r204 and r214.

Would be sweet if we could have the option to set whether we want 480p or 480i on startup in the swiss.ini. I know there is a ticket in for this already, and an attempt to fix the issue was made by holding L in @ boot, but I didn't see it suggested to be part of the .ini file. I'm trying to get my new test cube setup in my new work/test/chill room, unfortunately the TV I have in there is an old sony CRT and doesn't support progressive scan. :/

Is it possible to have a pre built swiss.ini on the WKF SD card? I know the WKF slot is read only, but can we manually edit one and stick it on there? I suppose I could just try it, but atm its easier to just ask.

How to get new build of Swiss? Are there some server I can find them or do i need to compile myself(in that case, any how-to maybe)?

Now i tried r215 and i cant swap sd-card.

I do following (with r174 it works):

* Boot with sd-medialauncher
* Start swiss
* swap sd-card in medialauncher sd-card-adapter
* get the content of the boot-sd-card shown

Hope it is the right place to post problems and understandable.

I haven't been playing my GC for a while, but now I'd like to play Ikaruga via SD Card.

I'm not able to play it by using Swiss versions 0.2 and above, I tried even the latest 0.3 rev215. The game starts fine but when I choose "start game" it automatically returns to the previous screen (press start). I've tried many config options in the Swiss but no results.

I can play this game by using Swiss 0.1 with the SD formatted in FAT16. My GC has a Qoob Pro 1.3c installed and I've already tried many config options in the modchip, but nothing have changed.

Any clue for this issue?

Thanks in advance!

Did you disable audio streaming via the game config menu? It's been a while since I tried Ikaruga

Yes I did it. I also disabled streaming fix in the Qoob config.

I think it couldn't be a bad rip, right? Since I can run it via DVD and Swiss 0.1.
