If you add in-game reset can you do it same as Cube64 where you press the reset down for the GC version of swiss instead of the controller button combo you had in sd-boot.

maybe you could add gcnrd support instead of the basic debugger like gspro n64. (i think this is easier)

here is my question,
bootloader patch, patch the gamecube to boot swiss on turn on.

Is already possible with a modchip.

Heres one that (in my mind) doesn't sound that difficult. How about a way to patch the Swiss dol file to, by default, attempt to load Disc/SD/IDE-EXI based on users settings. It's not a really big deal, but it would be nice to not always have to select what device, if it should run compatible or fast, and then which slot, every time you boot.

On a similar note, it would also be nice if Swiss could record its initial scan of a game the first time it boots it, to a file on the SD/IDE-EXI. This way it could just check the serial or filename, make that association, know what the games about, and skip to booting it.

Just thought I'd share some ideas for shaving a few seconds and button clicks off the boot time.

Something like Config Files CYatta that would be cool.

I still say ocarina support is the best ram dumper support option at this point.

I'm thinking file management features would be awsome.

*Transfer from IDE-EXI to SD Gecko and back
*Delete files from either
*unziping files

Thats just a few features that would make this the only GC homebrew I'll ever need again!

So basically a built-in file manager then. (like in many xbox dashboards such as avalaunch)

i did test this swiss.
but one thing. when browsing an iso you must press right then start the iso.
why not when the iso is selected just press a to boot the iso.
that would be great also a prepatcher for those latest rev.

This would be easy to include.

I would prefer it if pressing A gets you to the right, and pressing A a 2nd time starts the game. But this is only a small detail, like the . and .. folders in the browers that are a bit annoying.

I was wondering about implimenting a document and picture veiwer if there is not already an application to do these tasks. (if so which App?)

Thinking it would be goood to browse your photo's from SD card having used it in a camera, and reading Ebooks (.pdf) files maybe?
I have no idea how hard this would be to make but I thought it would be cool.

Also I am loving the Idea of file manager (copy, cut, paste, delete for IDE and SDHC)

How would you use them? that would require a gc with BBA

Another feature that I'd like to see is for wii users. A way to perform a hardware reset that will reboot the system into Wii mode. That way wii can exit without having to get up and press the power button. This would prove very useful if you add a return to function so that swiss can be reloaded after entering a game.

Great! So do you have a complete list of features you are planning on adding thus far?

I don't want to make a list incase I don't get around to them all. I'll make a list after I've implemented them :P

Fair enough. I'm just glad to see this software coming along so nicely. BTW were you making a custom build to interface with the Wiikey fusion chip for the portable GC project?
