How to change the frequency of a gamecube game?
Hello, lately I wanted to play Luigis Mansion in Spanish, but I live in South America and here everything is ntsc (60hz) and the game in Spanish Luigis mansion is only in PAL, and is not forzable to 60hz, I wanted to change this with the Wii video modechanger but to replace the dol, burn it and play it on gamecube, saw a nearly color but with some lines that prevented the gameplay, I would like someone to help me do not get used to the English version of Luigis mansion, thanks
Re: How to change the frequency of a gamecube game?
do you have both ntsc and pal versions of the game?
if so, this is what i would try first:
open ntsc iso in gc-tool, extract main dol and apploader
close gc-tool
open pal iso replace the main.dol and apploader with the ntsc one...
probably won't work, but it doesn't hurt to try right

thanks, but try this method, I extracted the dol & replacement, but do not enter the Spanish language and does not appear option to choose language, but what the apploader not try as I extract it?
Re: How to change the frequency of a gamecube game?
i wanted to try it myself but the ntsc dol is larger than pal so gc-tool cannot insert it.
no luck!
maybe it's not possible to convert

elias174, I'll need you to wait for the next version of sd-boot which will be able to patch games booting from DVD.elias174 wrote:sorry for double post, but I wonder if you could find something emukidid speed but do not want you want to play in Spanish Luigis mansion
Re: How to change the frequency of a gamecube game?
ok, I can wait, but this version of sdboot may completely change the frequency of play? because probe with gcos 1.x ntsc mode even putting it looked black and white
