Re: Gamecube won't power on! Bought from Badassconsoles.com
The PayPal dispute took time to process. If you want an apology then I am sincerely sorry for the misunderstanding caused by my actions and stupidity. To be honest I thought I was the one being scammed because my gamecube worked for a day then just shut down and know that I know what the problem is...

Re: Replacing CPU in gamecube
BUT: Games are running faster on a XBOX with higher CPU!!! I own one! 128MB RAm and 1GHZ CPU -> Games are faster then with 733MHZ! I think this would be the same Prob here!!! That's because some games are coded in ways that bump up against the limitations (I'm looking at you, Halo 2). Most GameCube...

Good thing XenoGCs are easily cloned using Atmega8s but that doesn't help us for the rest.

Re: Installing WKF help
I installed one a Megadrive for someone the other week and it isn't for the feint of heart. First you have to remove the DVD-ROM connector from the motherboard by cutting the top half off and then extracting each of the pins one by one. After that you have the option of sliding the pins back through...

Re: GC + N64 marriage
I do tend to view the "negation" of a perfectly good piece of hardware for conversion into something else as a negative thing. If the GBA Player was dead then all that was left was a good case? No qualms there at all. If I wanted to troll I'd do a hell of a lot better job than you attempte...

I don't give a rats backside if you don't like it or would change it. It's quite obvious you will never make one and most likely can't make one. And maybe you don't have the talent or ability to take out 4 screws to update a firmware but rest easy , I do. So go Troll someone else. Apparently you ha...

Re: GC + N64 marriage
Do you need to take it apart to play any N64 game made. No. Can I plug my own carts in? No. That is the end of it and adding qualifications such as that doesn't change I can't plug in my carts which in my eyes is a deficiency. You won't change my mind on that point short of an external cart slot an...

Same case with the 3DS and being able to run flashcarts. If Nintendo did things right the Wii U side of things is locked down so that the Wii mode won't allow anything to escape.

First time you crack open a cube the thermal pads typically hold the heatsink in place but running the thing 24/7 without the screws is a bad idea.
