Something new to try
Have you seen this http://psx-scene.com/forums/f19/new-mod ... 7-a-94231/ useful in anyway?, maybe you could talk with SP193.
PS2ESDL has firewire support now too.

Re: What kind of sd adapter with swiss?
So 2048MB is the max?, no 2560MB or 2816MB cards made that comply with the standard? no to 4096MB because it overlaps with SDHC.

Re: What kind of sd adapter with swiss?
I think you mean SDML and SDLoad can only load non SDHC cards. With a maximum size of 2GB (or very rarely, non-standard 4GB which are 4GB but not SDHC). You tested both versions of SDML? I didn't notice any difference other than the included AR database / cheat engine, I think the 1-2GB advertised ...

Re: Getting started with homebrew
bentomo, SDGecko is just a pass-thru as you've probably noticed. Any SD cards can theoretically work on it as long as the software supports it. Older software (SDLoad, GC-Linux?) only supports SD up to 2GB, where as the emulators, media player/etc and Swiss, support up to 32GB SDHC. I will get arou...

This will help silence all the skeptics. They're all whining about Wii64/WiiSX being abandoned, blah-blah-blah. Well, I say, keep up the good work! By the way, did you every follow any re-writes to the playstation audio plugin by a guy named Shalma? Yeah for pcsx-r :D I helped him fix compatibly wi...

Re: Getting started with homebrew
My understanding is it's a software limitation of SDML and SDLoad that limits you to 1MB-4GB cards not the actual sd gecko hardware itself but once you've loaded swiss you can switch it for a much larger one of SDHC 4GB to 32GB, I think emu_kidid said SDXC 32GB to 2TB would work too. MMC and MicroSD...

Cumbersome controller, isn't about time we had gloves with sensors that have hydraulic ribbing that harded or loosen your hand + fingers to simulate holding something along with exoskeleton body suits they could learn alot from the porn industry imo.

I second that notion does it show the info like gcmm or sdmc because gcmm didn't show the header info properly and showed junk symbols after the title.Ashen wrote:Sick!emu_kidid wrote:Memory card emulation is coming soon and possibly faster loading - got some awesome tips from another developer

One from a real game, Action Replay contains dummy data which makes it hard to read and it tends to skip / error out with dre's.

RE3 is protected as is Crash I think dunno about Tomb Raider, you'll need to patch them with a ppf patch or wait until the emulator supports subchannel data.

Re: Can I use an USB-IDE adapter on the IDE-EXI one ?
It's probably easier to convert usb to sd in combination with an sd gecko, I can't remeber if the sdgecko accepts a Micro SD without a adaptor though. http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Micro-SD/Kingston/Kingston-2GB-Micro-SD-Card-%2B-2-Adaptors http://www.saelig.com/MIO/MIO001.htm The PDA would be the SDGec...

You need USB female to IDE male.
The closet thing I can find to it is this
http://www.delock.com/produkte/suche/De ... 61593.html maybe you could combine it further with a USB to SSD adapter.

Prefer the white one, gloss black plastic always looks cheap imo, I prefer matt.
How about some metalic colours with gold buttons.

Do you have a USB Gecko? Thats the connection that is meant. They are quite easy to use a I do believe you can still buy them on the web.
