Re: Need help converting RGB modded D-Terminal to component cable
you don't need to connect the isolation but obviously you can't have the cables making contact with each other. You can have though a common ground as pictured below, all these 3 ground shielding can be connected with the other 3 from for the cable in one single point. I can't have better pics I am ...

that will not work unfortunatelyMadowax wrote:You can install the modchip on the tsop flashed Xbox, turn the x2.6 off with the dipswitch and boot from the tsop, once the hacked dashboard is running, turn the modchip on and start flashbios it should let you flash the xecuter in that way.

You need to hotswap with another modchip, if you boot with onboard bios (tsoped or softmod) then you can't flash a modchip.

Got the unit yesterday, working great! Here are some pics of how to install it in the original gd-rom shell so it can be used safely without stressing the motherboard connector. The usb-gdrom board has the exact same dimensions as the stock pcb so you can just replace it. The only modification neede...

Would a Qoob modded GC work with the WKF/SWISS hack?
Hiya!
as per topic I have a question: would a GC that has a Qoob chip installed work fine with the wkf/swiss stuff? Or the Qoob would interfere with wkf and cause problems?
TIA for any info on this!

Re: How to convert d-terminal cable
^ well, if your cable was a d-terminal one and not modified in any way then all you need to do is solder the RCAs or use a d-terminal->component adapter , no need to open the plug - just like megalomaniac said. In my case the cable was part of a fail-mod, it was already cut and some crappy scart con...

Re: How to convert d-terminal cable
I believe he means the lower-right pin on the MX chip , it should look like this:
it should be soldered in it's place, not lifted and not through a resistor. match the pic above and you'll get it working as a component cable
